Great night from Alanis and Garbage
Alanis' voice was still incredibly impressive, especially after the night before playing a show. The band was all over the stage, better than the album's production. They also sprinkled in some songs not on Jagged Little Pill. The encore with "Uninvited" was killer.
Finally, seeing Garbage for the first time was great. Shirley Manson is as badass as ever, Butch Vig on drums was amazing, and Jane's co-founder Eric Avery touring with them on bass added a super heavy feel to their hits. "#1 Crush" had an even darker chug to it with him there, liked the arrangement even better than the Studio version. Some nice tracks off the new album were also played, and of course "Stupid Girl", "Paranoid", "Push It", and "I'm Only Happy When it Rains".
They all sounded powerful as ever, nice stage production, definitely recommended if there's a tour stop in your area.
